The Problem
Avid, a new IHG hotel brand, had a series of stylish icon illustrations to showcase the hotel’s features. The challenge was how to bring those static icons to life in a way that captures the essence of the brand and engages potential guests.

The Solution
We animated the icons by seamlessly transitioning from one to the next using the lines that formed each illustration. This approach not only made the features pop but also created a dynamic visual story that felt cohesive and inviting.
The Process
Animation Concept: We mapped out the flow of animation to ensure each icon transition felt natural and highlighted the hotel’s key features.
Creating Movement: Using After Effects, we animated the lines of each icon, making them appear as if they were being drawn in real time before flowing smoothly to the next icon.
Final Touches: We added subtle motion and timing adjustments to ensure the animations were engaging and kept viewers’ attention without overwhelming them.
The result was a vibrant series of animations that effectively showcased the hotel’s unique features in a fun and approachable way. It proved that even icons can create a memorable experience when animated with a touch of creativity!
